Job Description:
Christ Lutheran Church, a Dallas-based, ELCA Lutheran Church is seeking a new director for their Child Development Center. The center operates 7am to 6pm throughout the year and currently serves around 100 families. The duties of the director are to serve the church by developing, coordinating and administering an effective Child Development ministry that supports the vision of the church. This includes providing a Christian environment where God’s love is shared with children, staff and parents. The Director will select and implement a Lutheran based curriculum that meets or exceeds the academic requirements of early childhood. In addition, the Director will provide leadership and supervision to the school staff including teachers, assistants and administrative support. A Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 5 years early childhood education are required. We offer an amazing work environment, a competitive salary and full benefits.
